AUBURN, Ala.- The westbound lane of Opelika Road near Dowdell Avenue will be closed today, Sept. 16, while Spire makes an emergency repair in the area. Work is expected to be completed late this afternoon.

Drivers will be shifted into the center turn lane, maintaining two-way traffic during the work. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
